Description:
A warm, dynamic, and high-profile family is seeking an energetic, proactive, and reliable Nanny to provide full-time childcare coverage for six weeks while the family resides in Arizona for baseball spring training. This position begins January 7th and continues through February 14th, 2026, with the possibility to extend through March or transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
This is a unique opportunity to support a loving, grounded, and active family who values professionalism, warmth, and discretion. The ideal candidate will have strong toddler experience, a proactive mindset, and ideally experience with infants, as the family is welcoming a new baby in December.
ABOUT THE FAMILY
Children: A happy and outgoing 2-year-old boy, plus a newborn baby arriving in December.
Parents: Dad is a professional baseball player in spring training; Mom is a warm and hands-on stay-at-home parent.
Environment: Family-oriented, screen-free, and active household that values structure, learning through play, and a calm, confident presence.
Home Setup: The nanny will have access to a private guesthouse at their Arizona property (no kitchen) and is welcome to use the main home kitchen as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide full-day care for the 2-year-old, including playtime, meals, naps, and outings.
Create and engage in age-appropriate, enriching activities that promote development and creativity.
Support Mom with the baby as needed (especially if the position extends).
Maintain organization in play areas, and the child's belongings, as well as shared areas like the family room, kitchen and living room
Assist with light family-related tasks such as tidying up after meals, cleaning bottles, dishes, and toys.
Run errands for the family such as mailing packages, grocery shopping, or helping with pet care when needed.
Uphold absolute discretion and professionalism at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience (toddler experience required; infant experience strongly preferred).
Energetic, proactive, and reliable with a warm, professional demeanor.
Must be highly discreet and trustworthy; NDA required.
CPR and First Aid certified (must be current before start date).
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Able to pass a background check and reference screening.
Flexible and travel-ready; open to candidates based in Arizona or California.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Dates: January 7 – February 14, 2026 (with the potential to extend through March or transition to permanent).
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 9 AM – 5 PM, with flexibility.
Rate: $35/hour to start; increased rate once baby care is included.
Housing: Private guesthouse provided (no kitchen, but full access to main house kitchen).
Location: Arizona (spring training location).
