FULL-TIME NANNY (LIVE-IN OR LIVE-OUT) – HOLMBY HILLS, CA

Compensation:

  • Live-Out: $35+/hour DOE

  • Live-In: $1,200/week

Schedule:

  • Live-Out: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM, Monday–Friday

  • Live-In: Split-shift schedule (approx. 7:30 AM–11:30 AM + 2:00 PM–7:30 PM)



  • Travel: Required

ABOUT THE FAMILY

A warm, energetic Jewish family in Holmby Hills is seeking a proactive, confident, and organized nanny to support their three children. This is a lively and loving household with strong cultural values, a kosher kitchen, and a team-based environment. The parents are considerate, communicative, and highly respectful of their caregivers—they emphasize that they never want anyone to feel burnt out or unsupported.

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal nanny is:

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES (LIVE-OUT SCHEDULE: 11:30 AM–7:30 PM)

MIDDAY–AFTERNOON

  • Begin shift at 11:30 AM

  • Organize children’s belongings, reset bedrooms/play areas, and ensure all child-related spaces are tidy

  • Restock snacks and supplies

  • Prep simple kid-friendly meals (ex: chicken nuggets, basic dinners)

  • Coordinate with housekeepers (two HKs on staff from 8 AM–7 PM)

AFTERNOON–EVENING

  • Kids begin returning home around 4:30 PM

  • Support afternoon activities, engagement, and structure

  • Mom often cooks dinner; nanny can take a dinner break during this time

  • Evening care: playtime, bath/shower routines, pajamas, and wind-down

  • Reinforce positive structure and boundaries

CHILDREN’S PERSONALITIES

  • Son (3): Adorable, strong-willed, charming; needs someone firm yet loving

  • Daughter (5): Spirited, expressive, vocal; a mini version of mom with big energy

  • Son (9): Calm, independent, book-loving; enjoys quiet time

They are wonderful kids who thrive with consistency, warmth, and confident leadership.

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally with the family

  • Summer travel and flexibility required

  • Additional hours during sick days or school closures

TEAM ENVIRONMENT

  • Two full-time housekeepers (8 AM–7 PM)

  • Nanny oversees child-related organization; HKs handle deep cleaning

  • Very minimal driving; a nanny vehicle is provided

  • Mom is a journalist active in the Israeli community; occasional hosting takes place

  • Dad returns around 5 PM; mom does most school pick-ups
